“Oh yes, something happened to your briefcase yesterday,” she adds, casually;

Garry says that he was looking after it for someone. “Don’t insult me!” snaps Dani,

He admits, “After delivering the lorry to Greece, I went looking for a cheap hire car to come home and met two Polish brothers, who ran a business that was foolproof. People hire cars, change the plates and sell them on –

Dani is becoming very angry; “Let me get this straight – while Gwern and I were on our own at Christmas, you were in Poland, breaking the law!” He is sorry he was not here, but had to be accepted by the boys, so he drove for them for a while.

“Was it worth risking our marriage?” Dani demands.

Siôn asks if Gwyneth wants the furniture moved for her hen night; “We’re not folk dancing!” she replies, “There are not many coming – only Sheryl, and I think she invited Dani –

“but I don’t want every Tom, Dick and Harry here.”

Siôn offers to cancel his stag night, but she forbids that, adding, “I’ll go to the village to see who is around.”
Siôn has heard that Diane is back, but Gwyneth sneers, “I’m not as desperate as that!”

Hywel tells Sheryl that she does not have to go to the party, and is willing to advise Gwyneth that she is ill.

Sheryl maintains, “Tomorrow I might not want to go to work, or the shop – I might not want to go out at all.”

“I know you won’t give up,” Hywel praises her, “I am allowed to give you compliments and fancy you.” Sheryl concludes that she has to go, as she is the only true friend Gwyneth has.

Hywel wants to know if she has any fascinating facts about Siôn for the stag party, but she cannot think of anything.

| Gwyneth comes in for a coffee |
Iolo and Tyler are talking in the café when Gwyneth arrives and asks Gwen for a coffee. Tyler is busy, trying to convince Iolo he must go to the stag night, or his father will be hurt.

“He’ll be hurt if he gets married, too!” insists Iolo.
Gaynor comes in for a takeaway coffee

and tells Gwyneth that this wedding has happened very suddenly; she is told that neither of them wanted to wait.

A voice informs them, “Dad didn’t get much choice!”

| "He's looking forward to it as much as me" |
Gwyneth replies that Siôn is looking forward to it as much as she is, to which Iolo pronounces, “Only because he doesn’t realise you’re only marrying him for his money!”
Gwyneth asks Gaynor if she can come to the hen party,

and when Gaynor has collected her coffee and left,

goes over to Iolo, snarling at him, “You’re welcome to your thoughts, but keep them to yourself – don’t you dare spread lies about me!”

Iolo is quite adamant that, on the contrary, it is the truth. “This wedding is going ahead, whether you like it or not!” is Gwyneth’s parting comment.

Garry is apologetic; “This business was too good to turn down – but I don’t want to lose you. I was going to tell you, but I wanted to make sure it was up and running first”

Dani enquires what happens after the plates have been changed; “Someone drives them to Swansea,” is the answer. Dani hopes this ‘someone’ is not Gethin;

| "Mathew doesn't know it's a scam" |
“No – it’s Mathew – he doesn’t know it’s a scam!” Garry tells her.
Mathew and Vicky come in, and Vicky notices that Garry’s ‘boot’ has been removed from his foot; Dani asks if it hurts, and when he says it does not,

she snaps, “Shame!” and goes out.

In the salon, Sheryl is relieved that Gaynor will be coming to the hen night; Gaynor wants to show off her new hair colour, and comments, “This Siôn-Gwyneth wedding is a bit rushed, isn’t it?”

Dani arrives with a box of assorted wigs and hats for the hen party,

and Sheryl finds something she rather fancies.

Later, Garry compliments Dani on the smart black dress she is wearing, and she tells him she is off to the hen party; “You can’t! I have to go to the garage – some more cars are coming in!” he roars.

Dani is determined her plans will not change; “Tough! You treat everyone like slaves and won’t tell me what’s going on!”

Garry loses his temper; “Oh – go to your party! Running this place single-handed can’t be very hard!” Dani regards this as a challenge,

Sheryl, in her shocking pink wig, arrives at Y Felin and tells Gwyneth that everyone dresses up at hen parties. Gwyneth grumpily replies that she is not dressing up,

In the Deri, Siôn tells Hywel that all the wedding arrangements have been made,

“You might not be when you’ve heard what I have to say,” Iolo warns, “I don’t like doing this to you, but, if you can tell me, hand on heart, that Gwyneth loves you – I’ll never say another word about this!”

Siôn remains silent, so Iolo continues, “You know she doesn’t – you can’t marry her!” Siôn emphasises that this might be the last chance he gets,

and that is enough reason for him. “Iolo promises, “I’ll be here for you if – when – it all goes wrong, but while you’re married to that woman – you’re on your own!”

At Y Felin, Vicky complains about the way she was used to have a go at Garry and asks if things are all right between them. Dani answers that they know each other possibly too well.

She is disturbed to see that Vicky and Gaynor are using Siôn’s laptop, but Gaynor says they have found a marriage quiz and are adapting it for her.
In the Deri, Hywel brings another round of drinks,

and Siôn addresses all the patrons, “I have something to say which may surprise you!” Iolo is suddenly hopeful that he is calling it off. “I want to thank a few people who have enriched my life,” Siôn drones on,

Tyler is expecting a eulogy about Iolo, but is shocked when Siôn goes on, “Gwyneth! She is a woman who has made me happier than ever – the woman I love!”

Gaynor comes to Vicky’s rescue, explaining that the word is CYNGHANEDD, meaning the ability to write strict-metre poetry. “(C) His grand, luxurious house?”

Gwyneth takes exception to this; “What’s that supposed to mean? Are you suggesting that I’m only with Siôn to live in Y Felin?”

Dani comments that she would not blame her, but she rants on, “I’m marrying Siôn because I love him! We love each other – don’t make such accusations!”

She reminds him that she said she would leave if this happened again, and that she has had enough.

“So it looks as if we have a problem,” diagnoses Dani, and goes upstairs.

When Hywel returns home, Sheryl is looking at the pink wig; “It was nice to pretend to be someone else for a while, but it won’t last.” He stresses that he does not want her to be anyone else, but loves her as she is.

He tentatively enquires which bed,

Siôn reports that his party was not very good, and Gwyneth tells him that her guests were tired and went home. “Iolo was there, but he won’t be coming to the wedding,” Siôn goes on,

“He won’t be part of my life if I marry you – but I want to be with you, Gwyneth! If my relationship with him is the price I pay, I’m willing to pay it!”

Siôn replies that he thinks their relationship is worth it, and asks if she agrees. She looks shocked as she answers, “Yes.”
