Tyler arrives home with the baby, much to Iolo’s excitement,

but Liv shows no interest whatsoever. Iolo is making faces at the baby, and Tyler says they have to give her medicine in a minute.

Without a word, Liv gets up from her chair and goes upstairs,

but Tyler convinces himself that all she needs is time.

| The baby has a cuddle from Uncle Iolo |
Iolo decides that he is going to have the first cuddle.

| Siôn finds intruders in the house . . . |
Siôn, who is apparently keeping an eye on the house, goes into Hywel’s and Sheryl’s, only to find someone there.

| . . . and goes to confront them with an umbrella |
He picks up an umbrella to defend himself, but then is amazed to find that it is Mathew.

| "What on earth are you doing here?" |
“What on earth are you doing here?” he demands, and Mathew replies that they have nowhere else to go.

| "Eifion gave us a key" |
The three of them are staying here only until they find somewhere else to live; he admits that Eifion gave him a key.

| "He had no right to do that!" |
“He had no right – this is not his house!” exclaims Siôn, but Mathew tells him that Vicky is in Swansea looking for somewhere, and there are not many decent places. “What’s wrong with Maes-y-Deri?” Siôn asks, and is told that Debbie went nuts and threw them out, accusing them of stealing money from her.

Siôn is adamant, “Well, you can’t stay here – you’re trespassing and squatting, and you’ve been accused of theft. Pack up your stuff at once, and I will be back later to check.

Elgan visits the garage, in an angry mood; he asks Gethin, “Where’s Garry?

| "That car was stolen!" |
“I was stopped by the police for driving a stolen car – the car Garry gave me on loan!”

| "I didn't know about that" |
Gethin acts surprised, and assures Elgan that his own car will soon be ready.
He is not consoled; “I came back to Cwmderi in the police car –

| "I've got my reputation to consider" |
“I’ve got my reputation to consider – how do I know that the new car is not stolen as well?”

| The police come looking for Garry |
Then two police officers come into the garage, looking for the owner.

| Dani wants to go shopping for baby things |
Meanwhile, in the Deri flat, Dani wants to go into town to buy a few things for Greta. Garry only wants the best for their baby, including the pram;

| "She must have a tidy set of wheels!" |
“As owner of the garage, it’s important she travels around in a set of tidy wheels!” he insists,

| He has a little gift for the baby |
and he has also bought something for her.

| Garry has a tip-off from Gethin |
Then his phone rings, and Gethin tips him off that the police are looking for him.

| "I have to go to the garage" |
He has to go to the garage, and tells Dani that he will not be long.

| "It's your mother here" |
Debbie is leaving another message for Vicky; “It’s your mother here – I hope you’re all right, you and Nicky. I take it that you’re all right because I haven’t heard from you – not a word. But there we are – you don’t care about me, do you?

“If you have time in your busy life, will you phone me, please?”

| "She's sleeping like a baby!" |
Tyler reports that the baby is sleeping, “Like a baby,” and asks Liv where would be the best place to store the medicine.

She mutters that she does not know. The hospital reminded him that they need to register the baby, so they will have to think of a name for her.

| "What about Alys?" |
“What about Alys?” suggests Iolo, but she shakes her head;

| Gaynor is checking up on Tyler |
Tyler’s phone rings and he has a message from Gaynor, wanting to know if he is going into school today.

He assures Liv that he will be back soon.

| Liv completely ignores the baby's cries |
The baby cries upstairs, but she has no intention of going to attend to her.

| Don't remember seeing that coffee machine before |
Gethin has just taken a cup of coffee from the machine when Garry arrives at the garage, and wants to know what the police were told. “I said I didn’t know anything, and pretended to be stupid,” Gethin tells him.

| "How did they know the car was stolen?" |
“That wasn’t difficult,” Garry comments, “How did they know the car was stolen?”

| "I forgot to change the plates" |
Gethin confesses that he forgot to change the plates, as he has so much to do.

| "You've stitched me up!" |
“You’ve stitched me up!” Garry shouts, but Gethin protests he did not know the car was going to be loaned to Elgan. Gary is eager for Elgan’s car to be shifted out of the garage as soon as possible.

| Iolo has now given the baby her bottle |
Iolo has just given the baby her bottle, and then suggests Alaw as a name;

| "How do you know what to do with the baby?" |
Liv asks him how he knows what to do with the baby.

| Siôn pays a visit to Iolo |
Then Siôn arrives to see Iolo, and is introduced to Liv, Tyler’s sister.

“And this is – well, we’ve been calling her ‘the baby’.

| "She only came out of hospital today" |
She only came out of hospital today – it was short notice, so I had to cancel work. Tyler is at school – he needed to earn some brownie points with Gaynor.”

| "You don't have much experience with babies" |
Siôn is surprised that he left the baby with Iolo, and points out he does not have much experience with babies.
“We’re helping Liv with the little one, until she is back on her feet,” Iolo explains.
Siôn mentions the serious problems they have had,

and Liv spells it out, “The drugs, you mean.” Iolo says he has always been taught to help people, but his father maintains that is not always possible, then reveals that he has just had to throw Mathew, Vicky and Nicky out of Hywel’s and Sheryl’s house, commenting that it is not a nice feeling.

“Apparently, Debbie has thrown them out of Maes-y-Deri, something about stealing money, and I don’t know where they’ll go now.”

Liv interrupts to say that maybe they did not do it, and that anyone in the Deri could have stolen that money.

| Mathew fetches a chair for Dani |
Mathew brings a chair to the bar, so that Dani can sit down; Greta is kicking her rather vigorously, and Mathew asks if he may feel – he is quite excited.

But then the doctor walks in, very keen to see Garry. “The police stopped me for driving a stolen car – his loan car!

“I want to know whether the car I bought from him is also stolen! Tell him I want a word.”

Mathew tells Dani not to panic, and he will go and look for Garry,

who is at that moment on the phone in the garage, telling someone, “The cops won’t find anything here – the place is clean. I’ll have to move the Merc, that’s all.”

Gethin has finished Elgan’s car, so Garry will go and see him.

| Mathew tells Garry about Elgan |
Mathew rushes in, telling them about Elgan’s allegation, and that Dani is panicking. “Do me a favour,” says Garry,

| Garry wants the Merc moved |
“There’s a Merc in the lock-up – I want you to move it and park it on the street outside. Put the key on the back wheel and come back.

| "I have to make sure Dani and the baby are all right" |
“I have to go and see Dani to make sure she and the baby are all right.”
Gethin encourages Mathew not to do what Garry asked;

“Maybe she and the baby might be better off with him in prison.”

| "But that's not what Dani wants" |
Mathew replies that is not what Dani wants, and goes off to carry out his instructions.

Iolo explains the baby monitor to Liv; she picks it up and asks, “If someone went into the room, would you hear them straightaway?

“If someone broke in, or something?

“I don’t know how people look after a baby on their own.”

| She will not talk about the father . . . |
Iolo thinks she could ask the baby’s father to help her, but she replies that it is not possible. Iolo suggests that there must be a way to find him, but she does not want to talk about him. “She’s better off if he doesn’t know – please, don’t ask me again!”

Garry walks into the doctors surgery; he has come to explain, “I got the car from a mate of mine in Swansea – I got it for a good price, but I didn’t know it had been stolen.”

Elgan enquires if all his cars come from the same mate, especially the one he bought, and Garry confirms that came through a dealership in West Wales – an online auction.

“I wouldn’t run a car scam on my own doorstep,” he explains, “And risk everything when Dani’s pregnant.”

The doctor is at pains to point out that he risked everything to mess around with Sioned, but Garry again insists that he has too much to lose; “I’ve got everything I ever wanted.”

Elgan maintains that he is his own worst enemy;

smiling, Garry replies, “Save your analysis for your patients. Geth will have finished your car this afternoon – you can come and get it when it is convenient.”

In the Deri, Debbie is demanding from Mathew the whereabouts of her daughter and grandson,

| "You shouldn't have thrown us out" |
and he protests that she should not have thrown them out. Nearby, Siôn says that he can understand why Debbie is worried, and Mathew simply confirms that they are all right.

| "I don't trust a thief like you!" |
“I don’t trust a thief like you!” snarls Debbie.
“I’m not a thief – are you sure you didn’t spend it on bingo or something?” rages Mathew, but her certainty that he is the thief cannot be shaken.

| "This may be a misunderstanding" |
Siôn intervenes to suggest that it may be a misunderstanding.
When Garry comes back in, Debbie tells him, “I don’t know why you employed him – he’ll have his hands in the till before you know it!” before flouncing out.

Mathew informs Siôn that they need more time,

| "Yes, all right – but don't tell anyone else" |
and is surprised when he agrees that they can stay until they find another place, but must not tell anyone else.

Tyler has forgotten his key and bangs on front door, which causes Iolo some consternation;

“Gaynor must analyse school data at home every night!” Tyler moans.

| "We have another problem now!" |
Iolo warns him that now they have another problem – and it is not Liv’s complete indifference to the baby – but the baby’s father; “I think he’s dangerous! When I asked Liv about him, she was frightened. What if he comes here looking for them? None of us will be safe!”

Liv has just come downstairs

and informs them, “He’s not dangerous – I just didn’t want to talk about him because I’m ashamed. He is a druggie.”

Tyler points out that Iolo worries about things like this, because someone attacked him a while ago.

| "He's not interested in me or the baby" |
Again she reassures them, “Don’t worry – he is not interested in me all the baby, and he won’t come here.”

Iolo does not, however, look very reassured.
Dani is deep in thought when Garry returns to the flat.

He blames Gethin; “He’s so careless – he’s let us down again!”

She is of the opinion that Garry he is the one who is careless; “This wouldn’t have happened if your mind was on your work –

“but your mind was elsewhere – Sioned!” He protests that this was nothing to do with Sioned,

| "The cops are downstairs" |
and then Mathew appears in the doorway, advising that the police are downstairs.

Garry asks Dani to phone Georgina for him, and tell her to meet him at the station.

When he has gone, Mathew tells Dani that it will be all right; “He’s always all right, isn’t he?”

She replies that Garry is not her priority any more.

Gethin has just entered the Deri when the two police officers escort Garry out, then admits to Dani that he forgot to change the plates,
