At school, Gaynor tells Ffion that she is worried about Ricky Jones, and where these drugs have come from;

“Someone in the school knows something, so I shall have to keep an eye on things. Chester denied everything – but who else would do that? And Mark agrees with me – we don’t want this getting out of hand!”

In a classroom, Tom can be seen in the background, apparently involved in another transaction.

Then he comes to sit opposite Chester and invites him to look in his bag; “There are a couple of books,” replies Chester,

“But I didn’t know you could read!” Then he is told to look in the pencil case,

| Then he finds the tablets |
and finds several pink tablets.
“Are you off your head, after what happened?” Chester demands,

| "Business is business!" |
and Tom simply explains that Ricky could not handle it, but panicked. He leaves to conduct some more business.

| "What did they say?" |
Sheryl, this time in a beanie hat, is just back from the specialist, and reports to Hywel that she is suffering from Alopecia Areata;

| "I may lose my hair within weeks" |
“I may lose my hair within weeks,” she says, “And at the rate it’s falling out, it doesn’t look good. There’s no way of knowing if it will grow back.”

| "Why do these thing happen to me?" |
As Hywel hugs her, she pleads, “Why do these things happen to me? Everything was great – I was happy for once!’ Hywel reminds her that it is not the end of the world,

| "Why does it feel like the end of the world?" |
but she replies, “So why does it feel like it is?”

| Gwerrn is getting on Dani's nerves |
Dani is becoming increasingly exasperated with Gwern, who is running around the flat with his wooden sword. Apparently he is supposed to have earache. “Put the cartoons on or something!” Dani exclaims.

| Then he attacks Garry . . . |
As Garry comes in, he is attacked with the sword

| . . . who manages to subdue him |
and picks up Gwern; Dani moans that they are like elephants, and she has work to do.

| "Oh, boring!" |
“Oh, boring!” Garry says, and she walks out.

| "We don't want to be any trouble" |
Gwyneth insists, “We don’t want to be any trouble,” but Garry reassures her that she should take no notice of Dani; he wants them there.

| "I might not be here much longer" |
“I might not be much longer – just a feeling I’ve got!” Gwyneth comments, cryptically. Garry chases Gwern around the room.

| "Two coffees, please, Gwen" |
Siôn and Iolo arrive at the café and ask Gwen for two coffees;

| "Everyone is staring at me" |
Siôn admits that he feels as if everyone is staring at him, but Iolo answers, “The wedding is old news now – what do you want for lunch?”
As they pick up menus, they see Megan come into the café

and try, rather ridiculously, to hide behind the menus; Siôn groans, “She’s the last person I want to see – I shall get a morality lecture now, on disrespecting the sanctity of marriage!”

Megan comes over to sit with them.

Hywel asks if Sheryl is ready to go out for a coffee, once ‘madam’ wakes up,

but she prefers to have coffee at home. “It’s because you don’t want people to see you, isn’t it?” he sympathises,

“Are you going back to the salon? The place is closed more often than open these days – you’ll lose clients.

“When are you going to tell people? They’ll understand.”

Sheryl warns him not to put pressure on her.

| Siôn is regretting coming to the café |
Much to Siôn’s displeasure, Gwyneth arrives in the café;

“I hope you’ve calmed down since the last time I saw you,” she says. He asks how Gwern is,

and she snarls, “Since when have you been concerned about him? Before or after you threw us out on the street? Don’t pretend you care now!”

Siôn points out that she has created her own problems, and she tells him, “We’ll see what my solicitor says – my name’s on the deeds –

| "I'll make damned sure I get my share!" |
“I’m going to make damned sure I get my share for putting up with you!”

| "This is immoral!" |
Megan scolds her, “This is immoral! I take no pleasure in seeing a friend treated like dirt in public!” Siôn intends to go home, and Gwyneth is keen to see him retreat with his tail between his legs,

but Megan urges him, “Sit down – you’re not going anywhere! Don’t take any notice of her!”

Gwen asks if Gwyneth wants anything else besides her takeaway coffee, and she replies, “No – I’ve got all I want.” When she has gone,

Siôn worries that if she is right, he may have to give her half his home,

but Megan describes her as a silly woman who likes to throw her weight around, and predicts that nothing will come of it.

At school, Tom is exhibiting his wares to two girls, and when Chester notices,

The girls walk away and Chester makes a grab for the pencil case; in the middle of the ensuing struggle, Gaynor appears and demands what is going on.

Tom immediately informs her, “It’s him – he’s dealing drugs! Look, they’re in his pencil case.”

Chester reluctantly hands the case over and Gaynor finds the tablets.

She orders Chester to her office,

| Tom gloats over Chester's misfortune |
while Tom smirks.

Dani complains that she is supposed to be doing the Deri’s paperwork, not babysitting and making lunch. Garry jokes that getting stressed will give her wrinkles, then Gwern kicks his football across the room,

knocking a drink all over the papers. Dani screams, “You don’t kick a ball in the house!”

Gwyneth has just come back in, and thinks it opportune to take Gwern out for some fresh air. Garry comments that it was an accident,

and Dani rounds on him, “I doesn’t matter what happens, you always side with her – just like you did then!”

| Garry hears the news about Chester |
Garry’s phone rings, and he is given the news that Chester has been sent home from school. He tells Dani he has to go to the flat;

“Yes, go on, walk away,” she mutters, “It’s what you always do!”

| "I want to look normal, like anyone else" |
Ffion visits Sheryl, who says, “I keep telling myself that it’s only hair – but it’s much more than that! I hate looking at myself in the mirror – I want to look normal, like anyone else. People will think I’m ill if they see me like this – they’re bound to stare and ask questions.”

“Have you shown Hywel? That would be a start,” suggests Ffion, “You can’t hide for ever –

“I don’t have any more lessons this afternoon – why don’t we go for a walk? I’m sure that Hywel can finish a bit early.”

Sheryl replies that he is very busy,

but Ffion insists, “You won’t know unless you phone him.”

| "Right, Chester, what have you done?" |
In the chip shop flat, Garry asks Chester what he has done,

| "I was stopping Tom selling them" |
and he explains that he snatched the drugs from Tom, to stop him selling them. Gaynor points out that dozens of tablets were in his pencil case, but Chester says that he was going to get rid of them, as he did not want to grass on his friend.

“Very convenient!” is Gaynor’s evaluation.
Garry knows that Tom’s father is a solicitor;

“Anyone from such a respectable family would never do that,” he remarks, sarcastically. Gaynor argues that she knows her pupils, but Garry advises that she should talk to Tom.

“I’m going to talk to the police!” Gaynor announces,

| "There's no way back this time!" |
and as Chester is in tears, warns him, “You’ll have to be suspended – something I should have done a while ago – and there’s no way back this time!”

In the Deri flat, Gwyneth apologises for Gwern; “He’s been through a lot, and maybe I’m soft on him.

| Dani does not look very sympathetic |
“I know this arrangement is far from ideal, with everyone on top of each other – but Garry has been very good. Despite everything, he’s always there for us – at times like this, you find out who your real friends are!”

Dani laughs, then explains, “I’m finding this whole thing a bit ironic – you and Garry are such friends, but he’s the one who landed you in it! Someone told Siôn everything a few weeks before the wedding.”

Gwyneth, initially sceptical, soon realises that Dani is serious, and rushes from the flat, across the road and bangs on the door of the chip shop flat;

Garry opens the door,

to be greeted by Gwyneth shouting, “You’ve destroyed my life! Why did you tell Siôn? Dani enjoyed telling me – why do that?” Garry advises her that he was concerned about Gwern, and she continues ranting, “I was doing it for Gwern!”
“And it’s all right for our child to grow up in a fake relationship, is it?” he demands. She wails that it took her months, and that he has spoilt it all –

“she will never speak to him again. Unconcerned, Garry tells her, “No, you managed to spoil it all on your own. Off you go!” and closes the door.

Back upstairs, Garry wants to know all the details about the drugs,

but is told that Chester took them from Tom to stop him dealing.

| "I don't believe anything you say!" |
“I don’t believe anything you say! Where did you get the drugs? Stop blaming other people!” rages Garry, and Chester repeats that they were Tom’s.
“Do you want to go back to prison? Tell me the truth – I know that you did it!” Garry continues,

“I don’t care how many lies you tell – you’re not getting out of this – you need to take responsibility for the first time in your life!”

When Hywel arrives home, Sheryl and Ffion are about to embark on a walk round Coed y Mynach (Monks Wood). Sheryl asks him if she looks all right,

Outside the Deri they see Siôn and Iolo;

Siôn comments that he has never seen Sheryl in a hat before.

She informs him, “Well, I’ve got alopecia, Siôn,” and they walk on.

He feels awkward and apologises to Hywel, who says she is being very brave.

Garry gets himself a stiff drink,

while Dani demands where he has been all afternoon, as she has been trying to do everything.

He informs her, “Chester has been suspended – he was caught with drugs. I’m not looking forward to what Britt will say!”

| "You betrayed me!" |
Then he turns to her and goes on, “Today has been a nightmare – finding out you betrayed me! It’s a bit late now for saying sorry!”

Chester’s phone rings – it is his mother; “Yes, everything’s fine here,” he tells her.
