Garry regains consciousness, but duct tape has been used to gag him, and his phone has been smashed. At that moment, Eifion and Cadno return and wonder what has been going on in their absence.

Garry makes loud grunting noises to attract their attention; Eifion sits him up and removes the gag.

and from inside it Moc watches the people of the village; Dani talks to Britt and then goes across to the Deri, where she speaks to Hywel.

| Anita arrives home . . . |
Anita arrives in a taxi, after her visit to her sister,

| . . . and goes into the house |
and goes into number 10. Gethin meets Sheryl who is coming out of the pub

| Hywel and Sheryl are eating 'al fresco' |
and who goes to sit with Hywel. Moc smiles, and looks at the gun, which is on the passenger seat.

| Gethin has no idea what she is talking about |
In the Deri, Dani asks Gethin, “Did you persuade him to go back to Thailand?” Gethin looks blankly at her,

| "You were taking him to the airport" |
so she goes on, “You were planning to take him to the airport – did he get through security?”
 |
| "Yes – nothing to worry about now!" |
Gethin confirms that he did, and that she now has nothing to worry about concerning Moc.
However she can clearly see that he is not telling her the truth; “What is going on? Any more lies and I phone the police!” she threatens. Only then Gethin informs her that Garry has gone to sort things out, as he did not have the guts,

| "It's all over now!" |
but now it is all over – it was the best for everyone.
The door opens, and a battered Garry comes in; he asks the few customers to leave,

| "Moc got away – with a gun!" |
then admits, “Moc got away - and he has a gun!”
 |
| "I'm a complete and utter failure" |
At number 10, Kelly is lamenting, “I’m a complete and utter failure. I had high hopes with Morgan – until he did a disappearing act!

| "I'll never see him again!" |
“I’m gutted – I wouldn’t have slept with him if I knew he would do this!” Anita attempts to comfort her and expects that she will soon see him again, but Kelly is more pessimistic; “I have a gut feeling I’ll never see him again!”
Garry has contacted the police, urging them to come as soon as they can; then there is a hammering at the door.

| "Have you been fighting again?" |
Contrary to their fears, it is only Britt, who assumes from Garry’s state that he has been fighting again.
 |
| "Moc is here!" |
“Moc is here – and he attacked me!” Garry tells her, “He’s flipped – and he’s got a gun!” Britt hurries back to the flat, where the children are alone.
 |
| "Did you really mean to kill him?" |
Dani demands, “Did you really mean to kill him? How do you think you could live with what you were going to do? You’re sick!” She angrily stomps off upstairs.
 |
| Anita pokes around in the bag . . . |
Anita has found a strange bag upstairs, and assumes that Morgan must be intending to come back. She looks inside, commenting, “I have a right to know who’s been sleeping in my house.”

| . . . and finds what purports to be David Jones' passport |
She finds a passport in the name of David Jones, but recognises the photo; “It’s Moc!” she exclaims.

| "That's Morgan" |
Kelly confirms that it is a photo of Morgan, but Anita furiously points out, “It’s Moc, an ex-partner of mine – and Gethin’s father!” Kelly looks incredulous as she continues,

| "Moc was never caught!" |
“He was never caught – he’s a very dangerous man! He used me and Sheryl in order to groom Wil.
 |
| "Why has he come back?" |
“Why has he come back? He has been in my house, sitting on my sofa, wiping his dirty hands on my towels!”
 |
| Kelly is inconsolable |
Kelly sobs piteously, knowing she has slept with him.
 |
| Anita alerts Sheryl . . . |
Anita immediately phones Sheryl; as she is cooking,
 |
| . . . who is baking |
Hywel answers, and holds the phone for Sheryl. “He’s back!” is all that Anita is able to say before the phone goes dead; the line has been pulled from the socket,

| They turn, to see Moc |
and turning round, Anita and Kelly see Moc, standing before them.
 |
| "Nice to see you again!" |
“Nice to see you again!” he tells them. Anita demands what he wants, and he replies, “Does it matter? No-one in this place is going to forgive me!” Kelly rushes to get her mobile, but he wrestles it from her; when Anita intervenes,

| Anita ends up on the floor |
she is callously knocked to the floor.

| The gun is menacingly pointed at them |
Moc draws his gun and points it at them.
 |
| "We understand each other, Kelly!" |
After making her tie up Anita, he tells Kelly, “You’re no bother – we understand each other. We had a good time, didn’t we?

| "Tell me you enjoyed it" |
“Tell me you enjoyed it – I enjoyed getting to know you!”
 |
| Garry looks along the village street |
Garry looks from the door of the Deri at the inhabitants going about their business, but then notices the 4x4 at the other end of the street.

| Sheryl is at the door of number 10 . . . |
He sees Sheryl go to the door of number 10 and knock,

| . . . where she is greeted by Moc |
then Moc, with Kelly in front of him, drags her inside. Garry hammers on the door,
 |
| "Go – before I use this gun!" |
but is warned by Moc, “Go – before I use this gun!”
 |
| Sheryl is taunted by him |
Inside, Sheryl pleads that she has to go to collect her little girl, but his response is, “If only you had come to Canada with me, everything would have been fine.
 |
| "You're the ones who are sick, not me!" |
“I was not interested in Wil – it was all in your heads! You’re the ones who are sick, not me –
 |
| "And now you're going to pay!" |
“and now you’re going to pay for destroying my life – every one of you sluts!”
Police officers have now arrived, and report that there is an incident; Garry is informed that the Rapid Response team is on the way.

| Hywel hears very disturbing news |
Hywel asks Garry what is going on, and when told that Sheryl is being held hostage, has to be restrained from intervening.

| He phones Sheryl's number |
He gets out his phone and rings Sheryl; Moc grabs her phone, and tells her, “We could have had our children by now, but you spoiled everything – I’ll never forgive you for that!” He orders Kelly to tie her up too.

| Armed reinforcements have arrived |
As officers armed with machine guns are deployed, Dani insists she must go and talk with Moc,
 |
| "No, Dani, you're not going!" |
but Garry forbids her from doing this. When an officer wants to talk to Garry,
 |
| She seizes her chance |
she seizes her chance and runs toward the back gate of number 10.
 |
| She has to sort out Gethin's mess |
Gethin sees her, but she insists she has to sort out the mess which he and Garry have created.
 |
| The police seem to have overlooked the back gate |
The police have not yet managed to organise a presence at the back gate;
 |
| She phones to say she is there |
in the garden she calls Sheryl’s phone and tells her father she wants to talk to him. He orders Kelly to let her in;
 |
| "Come out with me now" |
“Come out now with me,” Dani urges him, “Things won’t be so bad if you do that. I want to talk – just you and me!”
 |
| "We could have talked before" |
Moc answers that she had time to talk before, but she sided with Gethin;
 |
| "No chance for a father-daughter relationship" |
“I’m sorry you had a bad father – I was never there for you – we didn’t get a chance to have a father-daughter relationship.”

| The police move into position . . . |
As armed police surround the house,

| . . . and have number 10 covered |
guns are trained on it from all directions;
 |
| "Let them go – I'll stay with you!" |
Dani pleads with her father, “Let them go – I’ll stay with you. We could have fun together.”

| "No-one wants me to get through this" |
Moc replies, “Apart from you, no-one wants me to get through this – even Gethin – and that’s what hurts me, because I’m not a bad person. Anita, you hate me – I don’t deserve that – I don’t hate anyone!”

He takes the named cartridges from his pocket.
The phone rings again;

| "This is Graham Jenkins speaking" |
it is the police negotiator, Graham Jenkins, who asks if Moc needs anything, and whether anyone needs medical attention.

| "Put Gethin on the line!" |
“Put Gethin on the line!” Moc demands, “If you don’t, a body will be dumped outside the front door!”
When Gethin is handed the phone, Moc demands that they make a swap – him for Kelly.

| Moc lashes out with the gun . . . |
 |
| . . . and sends Kelly flying |
Gethin tells the negotiator that he can sort the matter out, and that it is him who Moc wants, but is refused,

| "I want you to create a distraction" |
so he asks Garry to create a distraction.
 |
| "What are you waiting for? I'm going to do something!" |
Garry pretends that he is about to head towards the house,
 |
| Gethin rapidly slips away . . . |
and while the police are occupied in restraining him, Gethin slips away.
 |
| . . . but cannot get near the back gate . . . |
He finds that armed officers are at the back gate, so he runs through the alley
 |
| . . . so instead heads to the front door |
to the front door of number 10 and bangs on it,
 |
| Ignoring police instructions . . . |
ignoring the shouts of the police.
 |
| . . . he joins the rest of the gathering |
As the sound of a helicopter hovering overhead can be heard, he enters the house.

| "Right, we're all here now!" |
“We’re all here now – all the people who have destroyed my life!” announces Moc, “It didn’t have to turn out like this –
 |
| "Gethin's responsible for all this trouble!" |
“if Gethin had kept his mouth shut – but no, he he wanted everyone to feel sorry for him! He’s responsible for all this trouble!”
 |
| Sheryl seems reluctant to shoot Gethin |
Moc unties Sheryl and forces the gun into her hands; “Shoot him – do us all a favour!” he snarls.
 |
| "I want a piece of your liver – not forgiveness!" |
Gethin begs his father to stop this, and says he forgives him. Moc snaps at him, “I want a piece of your liver, not forgiveness!”

| Dani launches herself at Moc |
Dani leaps up and throws herself at her father, and a struggle ensues. As police advance on each of the doors, a shot rings out;

Hywel and Garry look aghast.
