Eileen catches Jim putting some of Courtney’s things into a bag;

he rather curtly replies, “Mind your own business, Eileen!”

Hywel and Sheryl are packing boxes for the move; he wonders if they have to take the pink fluffy lampshade,

| "Wil bought me that" |
but she explains that Wil bought it for her.

| "Wil and I had some good times here" |
She starts reminiscing, “We had some good times here, just the two of us.
 |
| "He got stuck in the bathroom window" |
“I remember when he got stuck in the bathroom window – he screamed, and said he was trying to catch a pigeon on the roof. Then he spilled glue on the floor over there – he was naughty sometimes.”
In view of her fond memories of the place, Hywel wonders about the move to the house.

| "Some horrible things happened to you there" |
“So many horrible things happened to you there – I’m afraid they’ll haunt you!”

| "Worse things have happened since" |
Sheryl replies that they have never gone away, but that it is so long now – and worse things have happened since then. “I’m a different person now – Garry and I have moved on –

| "I've never been so happy!" |
“and I’ve never been so happy!” she says, “Come on, get a move on with this packing!”

| Ed surveys the damage to his foot |
As Ed examines his injured foot, Sioned comments, “You’re a real baby, aren’t you?

| "It was an accident!" (Yeah, right!) |
“Don’t try to make me feel guilty – it was an accident! I’m having a day off today – it will be nice to have some time to myself without anyone moaning.

| "Get me some chocolates" |
“Get me some chocolates before you start your shift.”
She hands him the money,

| "And don't pretend to limp in public" |
adding, “Don’t pretend to limp in public – there’s nothing worse than a man constantly seeking attention!”

| Kelly gives Tyler the latest news |
In the café, Kelly is updating Tyler on the situation; “I’ve told him that I’ll call the cops if he doesn’t do this course – it’s to help people confront their problems and stop them beating their wives.”

| Ed leaves the café |
Ed comes downstairs and walks glumly out of the café.
Tyler wonders how he has the nerve to show his face, and maintains that Sioned must be very brave;

| "He's knocked all the confidence out of her" |
“Brave or stupid!” is Kelly’s reply, “He’s knocked all the confidence out of her.”
 |
| "You're stealing that house from us!" |
Ffion sees Sheryl carrying a box across to Eifion’s house and shouts to her, “I want a word with you! You’re stealing that house from us!”
 |
| "It was just a misunderstanding" |
Sheryl insists that it was simply a misunderstanding, but it is too late now, and she does not want to quarrel.

| "We've decided to stay at Cysgod y Glyn" |
Ffion replies, “You might have done us a favour – I wasn’t really happy with the house. We’ve decided to stay at Cysgod y Glyn until we find something better.” Sheryl advises her that it might be a good idea to speak to Hywel.

| "How are things with Sioned?" |
Ed emerges from the shop with the chocolates, and Eileen enquires, “How are things between you and Sioned? I’m keeping an eye on you, remember,

| "If I see any sign . . ." |
“and if I see any sign that you’re hitting her again . . .”
 |
| "You're coming with me!" |
At this point, Kelly comes across and drags Ed towards number 10, telling him, “This can’t wait when my mate is in danger!”

| "Have you made the appointment yet?" |
Once inside, she demands, “Have you made that appointment yet?” and gets out her phone.
 |
| Ed is in tears |
“I’m not the problem!” he protests, bursting into tears, “She’s been abusing me for months – I can’t do anything right! Please don’t phone the police – I’m so scared – I don’t know what to do!” Kelly reminds him that he is not in the pantomime now.

| "You've stolen this house from me!" |
Ffion marches into Eifion’s house, shouting that they have stolen the place from her.
 |
| "Eifion preferred to sell it" |
Hywel responds, “I don’t want to be personal, but I doubt you had any chance of buying this house. It wasn’t for sale, but Eifion preferred that option. We haven’t cheated you at all, but I admit we should have been more upfront.”

| "We have to sell Cysgod y Glyn" |
Sheryl adds, “That’s why I wanted you to talk to Hywel – we have to sell Cysgod y Glyn, and it will go on the market next week.”

| "So you're making us homeless twice!" |
“So you’re making us homeless twice!” squeals Ffion, “I gave notice on the flat because I thought we were moving here!” Sheryl suggests she could rent the salon flat, but Ffion dismisses this idea; “We want more room, not less!”
Hywel proposes that Ffion and Gethin could buy Cysgod y Glyn; “It would be nice for you to have first refusal.”

“Nice?” rages Ffion, “Tell you what – stuff your flat!” and storms out.

| "That's what domestic abusers do" |
Kelly advises Ed, “That’s what domestic abusers do – blame the other person!”

| "Exactly what Sioned is doing" |
Ed insists that is exactly what Sioned is doing, but she demands, “If you’re telling the truth, where are the bruises?” He replies that she stepped on his foot,

| "Do you know how ridiculous you sound?" |
but she demands, “Do you know how ridiculous you sound?”
He asks if Kelly has seen Sioned’s heels, and adds, “All I did was suggest she went on that course.”
Kelly asks why he did not stop her, as he is bigger and stronger than her; “Why didn’t you phone the cops? If that had been me, I would have been straight down the cop shop – no messing!

“Is there something else going on here? Does she have some hold over you? I wasn’t Western Post journalist of the year for nothing!”

| "Mind your own business, Kelly" |
Ed tells her to mind her own business, so Kelly is convinced that what Sioned told her is true; “It’s not just physical abuse, is it? You’re abusing her emotionally, belittling her to make her feel as if she’s losing the plot. I know everything, and I’m not scared of you – you’re not going to get away with it!”

Ed despairingly picks up the chocolates and leaves.

| "Sorry for the way I spoke to you earlier" |
Jim comes into the shop to apologise for his manner earlier;

| "I thought you were getting better" |
Eileen was under the impression that he was getting better. He explains, “The grief counsellor said he wants me to take Courtney’s stuff with me to the appointment today.
 |
| "It will help me to open up about my feelings" |
“He says it will help me to open up about my feelings – although it sounds like mumbo-jumbo to me!” Eileen confirms that it is important to listen to the experts.
Ed walks past, with Tyler watching him. Eileen remarks to Jim that there is still no sign of Diane.

| Jim is not very sympathetic to Dai . . . |
“Good – Dai will know what it’s like to lose someone!” snarls Jim,
 |
| . . . but then regrets what he said |
and then apologises that he feels such anger sometimes. Eileen offers to come with him to the counselling but he is adamant, “This is something I have to do myself – see you later.”

| Ffion chats with Gethin |
On the phone, Ffion says, “I know, it’s our home! There’s no chance of being able to afford anywhere else. OK, look forward to seeing you tonight!”

She looks up at the pictures on the wall, then grabs her keys and leaves.

| "There's something really weird going on" |
Kelly tells Tyler, “He’s trying to say that Sioned is abusing him – as if! But there’s something really weird going on, and I’m not sure what.”

| "I hope this won't make matters worse" |
Tyler hopes that the talk about this course will not make matters worse,
 |
| "I'll check on Sioned later" |
and Kelly resolves to go and check on Sioned later.

| Ffion and Gethin do want to buy Cysgod y Glyn |
Ffion returns to Hywel and Sheryl in more conciliatory mood, telling them that she has spoken to Gethin, and they would like to buy Cysgod y Glyn.

| "I'm quite fond of the place, actually" |
“It’s not ideal for Arwen, but we’re settled there – and fond of the place, actually.”
 |
| It seems that an amicable settlement has been reached |
Hywel is pleased, and will get someone to value it; he is sure they can come to an agreement. Ffion adds, “I’ve got the interview for the Deputy Head’s job coming up, fingers crossed, and Gethin didn’t want to live across the road from the garage.” Sheryl says that Arwen is welcome to play in the garden any time;

Jim drives the Micra to some lock-ups, he gets out the bag

and goes to one of the sheds; he opens the padlock, goes inside and turns on the light.

Courtney’s bedroom is revealed, reconstructed in the shed.

then lies on the bed and weeps.

| "Chocolates, please" |
Sioned pours the freshly-made coffee into her mug;

| Ed stands impassionately |
Ed arrives and stands, silently, in the doorway. “You took your time!” she scolds him, and he tosses the chocolates down on the table.

| "You're standing there like a weirdo!" |
“You’re so childish!” she continues, “I’m trying to relax here – and I can’t do that with you standing there like a weirdo! Go to work!”

Instead, Ed sits down; “I can’t! I can’t do this any more – I haven’t got the energy. You’ve turned everyone in Cwmderi against me –

Downstairs in the café, Kelly returns, and Gwen is angry that she has been left here on her own.

Meanwhile, up above, Sioned goes on, “You make me sick! What happened to the strong, handsome man you used to be?

| "Stand up for yourself!" |
“Come on – answer me! Stand up for yourself! I ask you to carry out one simple task and you come back here saying you can’t do this any more!”

| Kelly fears what she is going to find up there |
At that moment, Kelly is steeling herself to go upstairs to check on Sioned.
 |
| Sioned shoves him on to the sofa . . . |
Sioned roughly pushes Ed on to the sofa; “Come on, Ed – what are you going to do? Nothing, as usual!”

| . . . and administers scalding hot coffee |
She seizes her coffee mug and throws its scalding contents over Ed, cowering on the sofa.
 |
| "Sioned!" |
A voice behind her screams, “Sioned!” as Ed scrambles to his feet in pain.

Sioned will find it difficult to talk herself out of this.
