Gethin is being threatened with the knife
The knife is pointed at Gethin as his father tells him, “Don’t be afraid – I’m not going to hurt you.   All I want is a chance to talk to you.”
"You engineered all this"
Gethin realises that Moc has engineered this, pretending to be an animal rights activist, and has deceived Kelly, just to talk to him.   “I knew you would refuse otherwise,” Moc tells him,
"We're actually talking!"
“I had to see you.   I’ve been planning this ever since I returned from Thailand, with a fake passport.   I had to do something drastic, but I don’t regret it, because we’re here now – we’re actually talking!”
Gethin points out that he has no wish to talk to his father, who looks disappointed,
"I've got a year at most"
and reveals, “I’m ill – the doctors say I’ve got a year at most.   When you get news like that, it changes everything.”   Gethin assumes his father wants him to change his story about what happened, but he insists he had to come back and apologise for everything he had done before it is too late.   He begs Gethin to give him a chance.
"I can't believe I'm nine weeks' pregnant"
In the hospital, Dani cannot believe that she is nine weeks’ pregnant, and was unaware of it.
"It's smaller than that!"
Garry enthuses, “It’s amazing – the scan is so clear, you can see everything – and it’s smaller than that!
Dani is pleased that Garry is more enthusiastic
“The baby looks perfect – our baby – roll on 28 December!”   He goes to look for a proper coffee, telling Dani,
"I love you both!"
“I love you – I love you both!”   She gets out her phone,
Dani makes some quick calculations
and begins counting the weeks on the calendar;  she is upset by what she works out.
Kelly relates how wonderful Morgan is
At Cysgod y Glyn, Kelly is still eulogising about Morgan;  “To think, he left the rat race, to become a full-time animal-rights activist.”
"I hope Gethin won't do anything he regrets!"
Ffion is afraid he will force Gethin to do something he will regret, but Kelly assures her, “He’s not like that – he’s a good bloke.   To be honest with you, he’s been staying at the house while Auntie Anita’s away.”
"Oh, you really are serious, aren't you?"
She smiles, coquettishly, and tells Ffion if she sees Gethin, she will send him straight home.
"Having someone to care about you"
By the door, she turns and remarks, “Lush, isn’t it, having someone to care about you?”
"Are you sure you're well enough?"
Garry asks Dani if she is sure she is well enough go home;  she suggests that they should keep it quiet for a while,
"A lot can go wrong"
as a lot of things can go wrong before 12 weeks.   “We need time for it to sink in – and I don’t want a fuss,” she tells him.   He agrees that he will curb his excitement, confirming that she is the boss.
"I'm not a threat to anyone any more"
In the barn, Moc repeats that he is sorry for everything, explaining that he was ill, but has now sorted himself out and is not a threat to anyone any more.
Gethin is far from convinced
Gethin appears sceptical about this.   “I know what you’re thinking – that I should suffer and die,” Moc adds.
"You and your type are disgusting!"
Gethin does not mince his words;  “You and your type are disgusting!”
"Now's your chance for revenge!"
so his father tells him that this is his chance for revenge,
He relinquishes the knife
as he puts down the knife, inviting Gethin to do what he likes with it.
Gethin quickly picks up the knife,
"No!   I'm better than you!"
but then declares, “No!   I'm better than you!” and replaces it.   Moc insists that he has been punished enough with the fact that no one wants him, but begs Gethin not to call the police before he has the chance to apologise to him and Dani.
He takes out his phone, but Gethin grabs it and flings it away;
As Moc troes to find his phone . . .
Moc insists that she has a right to know what he has to say, and,
. . . Gethin makes his escape
as Gethin rushes out of the barn, he pleads that Dani should be brought here to see him.
"You won't be able to put it behind you!"
“If I die before we resolve it, you won’t be able to put it behind you!” he threatens.
"Dani is never ill"
In the Deri, Iolo and Tyler learn that Dani is in hospital, and Mathew tells them that Garry suspects it is food poisoning.   At that moment, Dani and Garry walk in, commenting that she is now over the worst.
"Was it food poisoning?"
Mathew is very worried that he caused the problem, and Garry replies that they must wait for the results.
Mathew admits that the prawns he cooked were past their sell-by date;
"Dani could have lost the baby!"
Garry flies into a rage, demanding, “Do you know what could have happened?   Dani could have lost the baby!”   Dani is furious and rushes upstairs, while Mathew stands, open-mouthed.
"Nice one, Gar –you can't stay in control!"
Upstairs, Dani exclaims, “Nice one, Gar – telling the barman, of all people!   You can’t stay in control – everyone will know now!”
Dani warns Mathew not to say a word
Mathew appears in the doorway and she warns him, “Not a word to anyone that I’m pregnant!”
"I thought you were past it!"
However, she is too late, as Tyler rushes in to congratulate her and Garry;  “I thought you were past it!” he says, but Garry replies that everything is working fine, and reveals that Dani is now nine weeks gone.
Mathew can be seen mentally calculating nine weeks back from today.   Tyler goes back downstairs to celebrate being an uncle.
"I can't let Britt hear it from someone else!"
Garry will have to tell Britt and the rest of the family;  “So much for keeping a secret!” moans Dani,
"We shall remember today for ever"
but he maintains that they will remember today for ever.
Gethin sits and ponders the situation
Gethin sits in the car, thinking, then finally gets out, just as Kelly emerges from Anita’s back gate.
"Did Morgan come back with you?"
She asks if it all went to plan, but he just walks away.   “Hang on!” she shouts, “Did Morgan come back with you?”
"How much do you know about this Morgan?"
Gethin replies, “Morgan – how much do you know about him?   He’s not coming back – he went straight from Penrhewl to do a job in London –
Kelly is troubled by his words
“he’s using you, Kelly!   Trust me – you don’t want to see him again!”
Moc swallows tablets . . .
Meanwhile, Moc is taking tablets
. . . and seems to be in pain
and looking seriously unwell.

They debate the possible sex of the baby
As Iolo and Tyler talk about the new baby,
Mathew checks the calendar . . .
Mathew is checking the calendar
. . . and comes to the same conclusion as Dani
and looking anxious.   Tyler suggests that Garry will want a boy;  “A little Garry!” but Iolo thinks it will be a girl.   Mathew confesses to them that he has put his foot in it, and was not supposed to tell them about Dani.
Gethin needs a whisky
Gethin arrives at the bar and asks for a whisky;  Tyler comments, “Make it a large one for the ugly uncle – he’s not the good looking uncle, is he?”
"You what?   Dani having a baby?"
Then he encourages Gethin to go up and congratulate her, as she has a baby on the way – a Christmas baby!
Gethin downs his whisky and leaves,
Garry proudly exhibits the scan
as Garry shows Iolo and Tyler the scan on his phone.
"You don't seem very excited"
Mathew again sidles into the flat upstairs, but Dani tells him she wants to be left alone.   He remarks that she does not seem very excited,
"Nine weeks is only an estimate"
and she replies that the nine weeks is only an estimate.   He points out that nine weeks ago was around the time they slept together.
She argues that it was not the right time of the month, and that he is not the father;
"Don't you dare say that – or even think it!"
“Don’t you dare say that – or even think it!   Garry’s the father!  Now get out!”
Gethin is in a terrible state
Gethin has arrived home;  “You have no idea how happy I am to see you!” says Ffion,
Ffion is relieved that he is back
flinging her arms around him.   He admits that he has had a fright,
"Morgan is really Moc!"
and reveals that he knows Morgan – who is in reality, Moc!   Kelly did not know who he was – he used her to get in touch with Gethin.
He wants Ffion and Arwen well out of his father's way
“I don’t know what he wants, but I want you and Arwen to go and stay with Nesta until he’s caught!   And leave tonight,” he tells her.   Ffion does not want to go,
"For once will you listen to me?"
but he pleads with her, “For once will you listen to me?”
"He put me and the baby in danger . . ."
In the Deri flat, Dani exclaims, “You were right about Matthew – he put me and the baby in danger.
". . . I want you to sack him!"
“I want you to sack him and find someone to replace him!”   Garry maintains that he would go for unfair dismissal, which could cost thousands, and that, in any case, they need him now more than ever, here so that she can relax and work less.
"You're a lady of leisure now"
“You’re a lady of leisure for the next seven months,” he advises her, “And I think you should give up the salon business as well – it’s too much stress.”
"Do I get any say in this?"
She demands if she has any say in this, and he acknowledges that he does not give the orders any more – the baby does.
Kelly finds Morgan is unreachable
In the Deri, Kelly is trying unsuccessfully to contact Morgan;  she tells Mathew that she is feeling, “Brilliant – that’s why I'm drinking shots on my own,” and he agrees that he is having one of those days too.
"The people I trusted have let me down big time!"
She continues, “I went the extra mile to stop the shoot at Penrhewl, and the people I trusted have let me down big time!”
"I've just persuaded  Dani not to sack you"
Garry informs Mathew that he has just persuaded Dani not to sack him,
"You'd be leaving here in a box!"
but warns him, “If you had harmed my baby, you’d be leaving here in box!   Dani’s tough, like all the Monks.”
Garry has been summoned by Sioned
Then he receives a text from Sioned, with the simple message, “Phone me.”
Gethin throws down the green bag of food
Gethin returns to the barn with a bag of provisions, which he throws on the ground near where his father is sitting.   “I haven’t called the cops yet,” he says.   Moc insists that they and Dani need to be honest with each other.
"I don't want to be reminded of the past"
“I don’t want to be reminded of the past – you just want to ease your conscience, now that you’re ill!” snarls Gethin, but his father can understand why he is so bitter.
He wants to see Dani;  “Having a father like me must have been stressful for her,” but Gethin points out she has moved on, and he has no right to open old wounds.
"I've changed – I'm a different person"
“I’ve changed – I’m a different person,” Moc insists, “Please don’t go, Gethin – you’re all I’ve got!   Please bring Dani here.”
"You're in no position to give orders!"
Gethin maintains that he is in no position to give orders, walks out of the barn
He securely bolts the door
and bolts the door behind him.
