Vicky says that she will help with the cleaning, and then remembers that her gran phoned last night. “Oh, still in the land of the living, is she?” comments Kath; they are informed that Dol is in Torremolinos, as she needed a break.
| "You're not hiding anything from us, are you?" |
“But she was asking a lot of questions,” Vicky adds, “About Josh, and what you have said about him. You’re not hiding anything from us, are you, Kath?”
“Your Gran is nosy – she want to know everyone’s business,” Kath tells her, “If you’re helping me, you need to put on some old clothes.”
| "Mathew can change the barrel" |
In the Deri, Garry says that a barrel needs changing, but that Mathew can do it.
| "You said it was cruel!" |

and she explains that this is stage one of her plan.
| Josh has a long, hard job ahead of him |
Josh is finding it an arduous business, cleaning the caravan; “This stuff’s disgusting,” he tells Vicky and Kath as they arrive.
| Vicky is almost overcome by the stench |
Kath introduces Josh to Vicky, Debbie’s daughter, who has come to help. “I’ve been asking myself why I’m putting up with this,” he complains, and Vicky asks why he is here.
Kath explains that he needed a change, and he admits that he has not called the cops, as they would only tell him to move on. Nevertheless, he thinks it may be time he did move on,
| "We want you to come to the party" |
but Kath improvises that they want him to come to Ricky’s birthday party. He doubts that he will be welcome, but at the insistence of Vicky and Kath he agrees that he might pop in.
| Mathew has some bad news . . . |
Matthew hides the letter when Dani comes in, but she demands what is in it.
| . . . which he eventually admits to Dani |
He confesses, “It’s my old landlord – I owe him some money – £500 – I left without giving a month’s notice. This is the second letter – he’s threatening legal action!”

“You know how to get yourself into a mess, don’t you?” comments Dani.

| "He was too much of a baby!" |
Then she tells Mathew that the man was too much of a baby. He is very grateful for her intervention; she tells him that they do have to work together.
| "Did you kill any clay pigeons?" |

| Kelly screams at Gethin . . . |
On the other side of the pub, Kelly’s voice can be heard, “No, Geth – things have gone too far this time!” Gethin urges her to keep her voice down, but she continues, “I’ve had a gutful! I don’t want any more to do with you! CDP is over!”
| . . . and he shouts back |
Gethin insists that she cannot do this, but she gets up and walks to the bar for a gin and tonic.
| "Do you know what? Stuff you!" |
Gethin shouts, “Do you know what? Stuff you!” Eifion remarks that things are looking up,
| They are not pleased to see Sioned . . . |
but then Sioned arrives, and he tells Dai that she conned him out of thousands of pounds.
Dai’s reply is that everyone knows what she is like. “Worse than Bonnie – she doesn’t need a Clyde!”
| . . . but Garry rebukes them |
Garry instructs them to leave her alone, which surprises Sioned.
| They were not expecting this guest |

| Kelly continues her subterfuge |
In the Deri, Eifion approaches Kelly and asks if it is true that CDP is finished; “Things got too personal – I couldn’t handle it any more,” answers Kelly. Eifion walks away.
| Garry has found the invoice for the fish |
Garry does not look happy as he holds up an invoice and instructs Dani to cancel her order, and they can talk about it, as they agreed.
| "No, Garry – this is what I want!" |
Her response is, “No, Garry – this is what I want. I didn’t agree to anything!”
| Mathew takes Dani's side . . . |
Mathew intervenes, urging Garry to let Dani do what she wants, but is told to mind his own business;
| . . . but is told to back off |
“Back off!” Garry shouts, as Sioned appears to be taking a keen interest. He tells Dani they will talk about this later;
| "There's nothing to talk about!" |
“There’s nothing to talk about – it’s happening!” she replies.
| "We've got off on the wrong foot" |
Kelly sidles up to Eifion, and suggests that they have got off on the wrong foot; she offers him a drink. “I know we’re different, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get on. You like farming – I like clubbing. You like shooting birds – I’m a vegetarian.”
| "Nothing like the taste of pheasant!" |
Dai interrupts, “There’s nothing like the taste of pheasant!” Kelly suggests that getting planning permission for the pens must be tricky.
| "How about planning permission – or a licence?" |
“You don’t have planning permission, do you? Or a licence to serve alcohol?”
Eifion boasts that he can see her coming; she cryptically remarks, “Maybe you see the waves – but you won’t see the tsunami! What you’re planning to do is cruel, and I will stop you!”
| "Go and live on a commune, Kelly!" |
Eifion tells her to go and live on a commune, and leave him alone.
| "First the gyppo, now the hippy!" |

| "I knew it wouldn't work!" |

that Dai and Eifion won’t know their Woodcocks from their . . . but Gethin stops her in the nick of time. She promises that they are going to regret messing with her.
| "It's because of Courtney, isn't it?" |
At the party, Mark deduces that Ricky does not want driving lessons because of Courtney. “You can’t avoid cars for ever – they’re a part of life,” he says,
| "I never want to drive!" |
but Ricky does not want to drive one.
| "Suffered a bereavement, have you, son?" |
“Suffered a bereavement, have you, son?” asks Josh, and Ricky explains that his girlfriend died in a crash. Mark explains that it was an accident, but they can learn from it, and Josh adds,
| "Face your fears" |
“If you run away now, you’ll be running away for ever. The best thing you can do is face your fears. You’ll be grieving for a long time, but you can do something positive – learn to be a careful and responsible driver.”
| "All right –just the two lessons" |
Ricky agrees that he will try just the two lessons, then will decide if he wants to carry on. Debbie announces that the party is over and it is time for Josh to go. Kath demands, “Where are your manners?” but Josh informs them that he has to settle the caravan in its new home.
| "I hope you'll come again" |
Ricky hopes that he will visit again, but Debbie is not so sure.
| "There's something dodgy about him" |
When Josh has gone, she tells Mark that there is something dodgy about Josh, and she does not want him there. Mark replies that he talked a lot of sense to Ricky just now; and she should have thanked him, rather than getting rid of him.
| Mathew is indebted to Dani |
Matthew thanks Dani once again for getting him out of the awkward situation, and is sure that her fish will be a success. Dai and Eifion are still drinking;
| "We've stopped a load of gypsies!" |
“We’ve stopped a load of gypsies from taking root in this village!” brags Dai.
| "The van's parked outside APD" |
A stranger enters the pub, asking if Eifion Rowlands is here, and tells him that the van is parked outside APD; Eifion rushes out to see what is going on. Sioned is still sitting silently in the corner.
| "Hey, lads, come outside and see this!" |
John Post comes in, saying, “Hey, lads, you should come outside to see this!”
| Everyone rushes out . . . |
There is a mass exodus.
| . . . well, everyone except Sioned |
As no-one is looking, Sioned slips upstairs to the flat, where Garry is working on his laptop.
| "I'm busy!" |
“Don’t worry – nobody saw me,” she says, but he replies that he is busy. “I just wanted to say thanks for sticking up for me,” she continues.
“I don’t like seeing big men bullying little girls, that’s all,” he explains,
| "I wasn't a little girl last week" |
but she observes that she was not a little girl last week.
| "You'd better leave, Sioned!" |
He closes the laptop and advises her to leave.
| "We'd be good together" |
“Haven’t you ever thought that we’d be good together?” she enquires, but again he stresses that his future is with Dani. Sioned goes on, “But there’s something missing – we understand each other. You could only trust me to steal those cars – and that was more than a business. There’s always been more than that – nobody understands me the way you do. Just be honest, Garry!”
| "It's not going to happen!" |
He confronts her; “It’s not going to happen!” She turns and leaves,
| "You're making a mistake!" |
warning him that he is making a mistake.
| "You can't just leave it here!" |
Down in the yard at APD, Dai is shouting at the man who came into the pub, “Listen to me, Pharaoh! You can’t just leave it there! You’re not allowed! I’ll report you!” The man advises Dai to talk to his boss and hands over a card.
| "Nefi Wen!" |
“Yes, and I’ll be talking to the police, and the Western Post – and the Council! Nefi wen!”
| The onlookers enjoy the spectacle . . . |
Eifion tells the gathered crowd that it is not his problem any more;
| . . . and Eifion getting the bill amuses them still further |
but then the man returns and hands Eifion a bill, for cleaning and servicing the caravan; “You’ve got ten days to pay,” he advises.
Eifion is incandescent with rage at the £200 bill.
| "Thanks for the deep clean!" |
The caravan door opens, and Josh appears; “Thanks for the deep clean – the old caravan has never looked better!”
“Wait till I get hold of you,” shouts Eifion, and Josh retreats into the caravan,
| "Open this door, you swine!" |
as Eifion yells, “Open this door, you swine!” Kelly observes that this is what you call ‘karma’.

Hearing the noise, Garry comes downstairs;
| . . . and Garry orders her out |
he surveys the scene, then orders Sioned, “Just get out!” He looks very stern as she does so.
