"And I have another job in Llanarthur"
Iolo is out on a job, but Tyler wants him to look after Greta;  “I have to finish here by lunchtime,” Iolo tells him, “And I’ve got another job in Llanarthur.”
Greta is blissfully unaware
Tyler is sorry to hassle him, and Iolo angrily remarks, “It’s a shame we can’t find Liv!”
"Would your father be able to take her?"
Tyler wonders if Iolo’s father would be able to take her, and phones him.
Siôn is too busy with simultaneous translation
Siôn’s reply is that simultaneous translation pays too well to turn it down.
Tyler trudges off with Greta
Tyler walks away disconsolately, carrying Greta.
Siôn has taken in Mathew, Vicky and Nicky
We discover that Vicky and Mathew are staying at Y Felin with Nicky.   Siôn tells them he will bring some newspapers home,
"There won't be any jobs"
as there might be a couple of job adverts, and Vicky will go to Tomos ac Ellis to see if any accommodation is available.
Vicky grabs a handful of cereal
When Siôn has gone, Vicky helps herself to some breakfast cereal, saying that he will not notice.   “We have to eat – I will go to the food bank again,”
"Well, you can starve, then!"
but Mathew decides that he will not be dragged there again.
Tyler can find no childcare for Greta
Anita meets Tyler, who is still looking despondent, and he tells her that there is no one to look after Greta;  he concludes that he will have to make an excuse for his absence from the school, and explains that Iolo has got too much work on.
"Do you want me to help out?"
“Do you want me to help out?” she offers, “But only until you’re out of school.”
"You're an angel, Anita!"
He describes her as an angel, and hands over the baby
Anita is literally left holding the baby
together with all her accoutrements.
Sioned is again looking thoroughly depressed when Gwyneth arrives;
"I was thinking about the court case
“I was thinking about the court case,” Sioned tells her.
Gwyneth recommends a night out in Swansea
Gwyneth proposes going to a gig in Swansea tonight, but meets with a lack of enthusiasm.
"Come on, it will do you good"
“Come on – it will do you good to forget about all this,” says Gwyneth, “Have you thought any more about your plea, and what about Ed’s statement?”
"It doesn't bode well for me"
Sioned is worried that if he says she raped him, it will not bode well for her.
"You should discuss it with your solicitor"
“I think you should discuss it with your solicitor,” Gwyneth advises, but Sioned replies that she is holding back,
Sioned thinks – hopes – that Ed may be bluffing
in case this is a bluff.   “Staying in alone won’t do any good – and Ed won’t be anywhere near Swansea tonight, will he?   Shall I book the tickets?”   Sioned finally capitulates.
Iolo puts a neat right-angle bend in the copper pipe
Iolo is bending some copper piping when his phone rings,
He is assured that Greta is with Anita
and Tyler informs him that the baby is with Anita.
Someone is watching Iolo
Then he returns to his van, unaware that an unsavoury character is watching him.
Mathew is pondering his situation
Mathew lies on the sofa, staring into space,
"You were supposed to be tidying up"
and is reprimanded by Vicky when she returns from the food bank, for not tidying up.   “I walked all the way to the food bank and back.
"What's wrong?"
“What’s wrong?   Are you ill or something?”
He snarls that he is tired of being in this situation where they have to beg for everything;
He resents living on handouts
“We’re living on handouts and in someone else’s house,” he grumbles.
He does not believe Vicky that things will get better
Vicky naïvely predicts that it will get better, but Mathew is more realistically considering moving back in with his father, and suggests that she should move back to Maes-y-Deri.
"There might be a job in the paper"
Obstinately, she will not entertain that possibility, and says that Siôn might walk in with a newspaper and just the job for him,
"We must be there for each other"
insisting that they have to be positive, and there for each other.
"Can I help you?"
Iolo turns round to see the menacing figure of Steve, who demands to know where Liv is,
"I want to know where Liv is!"
as last week it seems she disappeared.
"Sorry, I've got no idea"
He does not believe Iolo’s reply that he has no idea where she is,
Then Steve turns threatening . . .
then pins him against the wall and brandishes a knife, threatening to cut him from top to bottom.
. . . and leaves Iolo terrified
Iolo is, predictably, terrified, but Steve then walks away.
"I felt sorry for Tyler"
In the Deri, Dani enquires how Anita comes to be looking after Greta;  she explains that she felt sorry for Tyler, then orders lasagne for her lunch.
"Vicky and Mathew are looking for a place to rent"
Siôn is also surprised to see Anita with the baby, and explains that he has some papers, as Vicky and Mathew are looking for a place to rent;
"Jobs are few and far between"
“And for jobs – but they are few and far between.”   Anita sympathises that he does not want them in the way for ever.
"Chicken curry and rice?"
He also decides to order lunch, and sits down by Anita.
It does not look like a brand-new school
At school, Tyler is marking, when Iolo suddenly rushes in;  after catching his breath,
"I've been threatened by a bloke with a knife!"
he explains, “I’ve been threatened by a bloke with a knife – he thought I knew where Liv was.   It was the boy who trashed the house.   He wouldn’t believe me that I don’t know where Liv is –
"Please tell me Greta's still with Anita!"
“please tell me Greta’s still with Anita!”
"She rang a few minutes ago"
Tyler confirms that Anita rang a few minutes ago;  “I’m concerned about the house – and I’m concerned for us!” Iolo panics,
"I can't go back to the house!"
“I can’t go back to the house!”
"You will need more staff until Christmas"
Siôn approaches Dani at the bar, suggesting she will need more staff between now and Christmas;  she follows his train of thought
"I have nothing to offer Mathew!"
and replies, “I have nothing to offer Mathew – nothing at all!”
"How about 'Knowing our Problems'?"
Anita has thought of a possible title for her proposed programme;  “How about ‘Knowing our Problems’?” she says, and Siôn considers it very appropriate.   She intends to focus on contemporary problems facing young couples;
"It could help people like Vicky and Mathew"
“Houses they cannot afford, work, child-care.   I think it could help people like Vicky and Mathew.   It could help Ed too, because he’s looking for a job.”
Siôn is in favour of this idea
Siôn thinks that talking to Mathew and Vicky would give her ideas for her programme, as they have faced a lot of problems.
"I can't live like this!"
Iolo is still looking terrified, and tells Tyler, “I can’t live like this – it’s not doing me any good.   When he had the knife to my face, all I could think of was Meleri!   I don’t want to go back to how I was –
"This could trigger off the OCD!"
“something like this could trigger off the OCD!   We have to tell the police!   What if he trashes the house again?”
"No – that would cause problems for Liv"
Predictably, Tyler will not agree to this, as it would cause problems for Liv.
"I was the one threatened with a knife!"
Iolo reminds him that he was the one who was threatened with knife.
"We have to think of the future"
“If we go to the police, it could be difficult to get custody of Greta,” Tyler argues, “I know it’s hard but we have to think about the future.”
Iolo is adamant that he will not return to the house, and says they can stay at Y Felin with his father.   Tyler simply proposes getting better locks for the windows and doors, but Iolo insists that he does not understand.
"I don't want anything to do with Liv and Greta any more!"
“This has nothing to do with what has happened – I don’t want anything to do with Liv or Greta any more!   I can’t do it!   I’m moving out!   You’re not going to lose me – it’s only temporary, until this mess is sorted out.   I have to go.”
Anita arrives at Y Felin
Siôn returns with the newspapers, as promised, but also with Anita, who is carrying baby Greta.   “I wanted to discuss something for CwmFM with you.”
"She is researching her new programme"
Siôn explains that Anita needs to research her new programme.   “Being homeless is a common problem these days, going to food banks, and finding somewhere to rent for young couples,” begins Anita.
"So you want us to be guinea pigs on the radio?"
“So you want us to be guinea pigs on the radio, do you?” asks Mathew,
"I hoped to talk to them on air"
and then she points out that she had hoped to talk to them on air, as they might have a better chance of finding a job or a flat.
Mathew rages, “Who do you think you are?   You march in here and tell us how to live our lives!
Mathew wants nothing to do with it
“I don’t care – I don’t want anything to do with it!” and storms upstairs.
Tyler is very worried
Tyler returns to the High Street in a preoccupied state;  he looks warily all around, before going into the house.
Vicky and Mathew watch Nicky eating his toast,
Siôn works on the laptop
and Siôn is busy on the laptop, then he apologises for earlier, as he thought Anita wanted to discuss research.
"If I knew she would be so . . . rude"
If he had known she would be so rude, he would not have invited her.
"Yes, come over, Iolo"
Siôn’s phone rings;  it is a call from Iolo, who is told to come over.
"You shouldn't ignore Siôn"
Vicky reprimands Mathew for ignoring Siôn, but he protests, “I don’t want help!
"They're just do-gooders, massaging their egos!"
“They’re just two do-gooders, massaging their egos!”
"One job in Llanelli and one in Carmarthen
Vicky has found a couple of jobs on the iPad, one in Llanelli and one in Carmarthen.
Gwyneth and Sioned on their way to a night out
Sioned and Gwyneth come into the Deri, on their way to the gig;  they each want vodka and tonic, and Dani serves them with a scowl.   Anita is at the bar, and asks if they are having a night out.
"You won't be smiling much next week!"
“Well, make the most of it – you won’t be smiling much next week,” warns Anita, “At least, no one will know you in Swansea, Sioned.”
"You don't know the half of it!"
Sioned’s reply is that Anita is taking too much notice of what her lodger says, and that is why she thinks she knows it all.   “But you don’t know the half of it – nobody does!”
"But we shall find out when you're in court!"
“Well, we’ll find out the truth when you appear in court!” Anita tells her;
"Don't let her wind you up!"
Gwyneth wants to phone for a taxi and get out of the place, advising Sioned to ignore Anita.
Every noise makes Tyler nervous
At number 7, Tyler ensures that the back door is firmly bolted, but is nervous when a dog barks.
He peers round the curtains . . .
He peers round the curtains, and sits down uneasily;
. . . then almost phones Iolo . . .
he takes out his phone, and almost calls Iolo, but changes his mind when Greta cries upstairs.
. . . but has to go up to Greta
He goes to her.
