At Maes-y-Deri, Mark is on the phone to Stacey and reports there is still no news of Kath; Vicky maintains that if she wanted to be found, she would have been in touch.

| Mark has cereal . . . |
Mark puts cereal in his bowl

| . . . but no milk |
and then finds Vicky has used the last of the milk. Vicky insists that Dol can look after herself.

| He looks up a telephone number |
He then has an idea and looks in the address book for the phone number of Sandra;

| "Hello, Sandra – I'm looking for Dol" |
he says, in English, “Hello Sandra – this is Mark Jones, Debbie’s partner – I’m looking for Dol.”

| Tyler has agreed to join the syndicate . . . |
In the café, Eifion comes in to see Tyler, who has some syndicate money for him;

| . . . which does not please Kelly |
Kelly is outraged. Then Eifion asks if Gethin is interested,

| "It's elitist and cruel!" |
but is told, “I think it’s elitist and cruel! Adults should find something more constructive to do!”

| Kelly sees a kindred spirit |
Hearing this, Kelly rushes over to Gethin and asks if he has a few minutes to spare.

| They got through a couple of bottles last night |
In Dol’s bedsit, Kath, troubled by the after-effects of last night’s wine, is looking, unsuccessfully for Dol.

| Then Kath makes a troubling discovery . . . |
Then she notices that her purse is lying on the table, empty.

| . . .Dol is missing – and so is Kath's money |
“Damn it!” she exclaims.
 |
| "We're not going to be able to do anything" |
At number 10, Kelly is proposing a group protest, but Gethin is not convinced they can make much difference.

| "That's not the attitude, Geth!" |
“That’s not the attitude, Geth!” she tells him, “We can set up a CnocCnoc page, and might get a few recruits. My mates at the Western Post can do the publicity – are you in or what?”

He agrees, and Kelly takes a photo of them, the group founders.
As CwmFM is broadcasting an item about Doctor Roberts leaving the surgery at the end of the week,

| "It will be strange having a new doctor" |
Hannah is at the salon, and Sheryl moans that it will be strange having a new doctor who knows nothing about them.

| "I hear that love is in the air" |
“I hear that love is in the air,” she adds.
 |
| "Chester won't be fussed about my hair" |
Hannah replies that they are going on a date tomorrow night, although Chester is unlikely to be fussed about what her hair looks like; “Hair is just a hassle, isn’t it?”

| Gwen was only given one day off, then |
Hywel is broadcasting from the café, where he is to interview Eifion about his new enterprise, the shooting syndicate at Penrhewl.

| Eifion extols the virtues of shooting birds |
“We hope that people from the area will join the syndicate, and it could become an annual event,” Eifion says.

| "Not if we stop it, it wont!" |
Gethin and Kelly have just arrived, and Gethin declares that he is going to stop this plan. Eifion is offended at having his interview interrupted,

| "This is free publicity!" |
but Kelly monopolises the microphone to tell listeners, “This is not an interview – it’s free publicity! The audience only hears one side of the argument!”

| "We must cover both sides of the case" |
Hywel is inclined to agree that CwmFM must be unbiased, and asks what is the basis of her opposition.

| "We at 'Friends of all Creatures' . . ." |
“We at ‘Friends of all Creatures’,” she begins, and is greeted with derision by Eifion. After shutting him up,

| "Cavemen who want to impress each other!" |
she continues, “We are against the gratuitous killing of any living creature by cavemen who want to impress each other!”
Hywel brings the programme to an end,

| "That was pretty lively!" |
and comments that it was more lively than he expected.

| "One - nil to us, I think!" |
Kelly addresses Eifion, “That’s one - nil to us, I think!” but her jubilation is short-lived, when Hywel hands over his syndicate deposit to Eifion.

| "Double-crosser!" |
“What?” she screams, “Double-crosser!” and storms out of the café.

| "Come back – and bring my money with you!" |
Kath leaves a message on Dol’s phone, “Sorry I didn’t tell you until last night that I showed Josh the letter. Please come back, will you – and bring my money back with you!” Then there is a knock on the door;

| Josh is looking for Dol . . . |
it is Josh, looking for Dol, and when told she is not there,
 |
| . . . and when told she is not there, is ready to leave |
he turns to leave. Kath says he does not have to go straightaway.

| "Then I paid my membership deposit" |
Hywel calls at the salon and reveals that after the rather unconventional interview he paid Eifion his membership deposit.

| "You joined that syndicate?" |
Sheryl is displeased; “What? You joined that syndicate?” she exclaims.
 |
| "It's horrible!" |
Hannah adds her comment, “It’s horrible! Those trophy-hunters who put photos online are sick! I’m going to join Kelly’s and Gethin’s group!”

| Hywel is about to retreat gracefully |
Hywel thinks that in the face of this opposition, he had better go.

| Tyler cooks dinner |
Tyler is cooking at number 7, and asks Iolo if he fancies going to the Deri tonight;

| "I'm meeting Eifion to learn about the syndicate" |
“I’m meeting Eifion to learn more about the syndicate, and find out what what we do.”
 |
| "I don't want anything to do with it!" |
“We?” says Iolo, incredulously, “I don’t want anything to do with it – and hoped you didn’t!” When Tyler describes it as a bit of fun, Iolo demands, “Do you know how many problems guns have caused in the village over the years? Not to mention what happened to Britt!

| "I don't want a gun anywhere near this house!" |
“I don’t want a gun anywhere near this house – I mean it!”

| Hywel does some homework |
Sheryl comes home and finds Hywel looking at shooting syndicates on the laptop;

| "Can't we discuss it sensibly?" |
“Why are you so annoyed I joined?” he asks, “Can’t we discuss it sensibly?”
 |
| "Sensibly is talking to me first!" |
She is not happy that he did not discuss it with her first, but he simply says that they have different interests.
 |
| "Well, that's it, then" |
“Well that’s it, then – there’s nothing else to say,” she concludes.
 |
| She does not want to go with him |
He is going to meet Eifion, but she declines the invitation to accompany him.
 |
| "I told her about you and the letter" |
Josh asks what Kath told Dol; “I told her about you and the letter,” replies Kath,
 |
| "It seemed a good idea at the time" |
“It seemed like a good idea after a few glasses of wine – she had to be told some time.” Then there is another knock on the door.
This time it is Mark, who demands, “Why didn’t you tell us where you were?”

| "Who is he, Mam?" |
and asks who is the stranger.

| "Josh is a friend" |
Kath introduces him as a friend, and Josh seems in a great hurry to leave.

| "How did you know where to find me?" |
“How did you know where to find me?” asks Kath, and Mark says that he guessed she might be with Dol, so he got the address from Sandra next door. Then he asks where Dol is; “She’s gone – done a runner, and taken my money with her!” replies Kath.

| Mark is convinced she is back to taking drugs |
Mark does not believe this, and is convinced that his mother is back on the drugs; “Do you think I’m an idiot? You disappear, don’t phone, then I land here and find a dodgy bloke and you with no money!”

| "Look, he's not a drug dealer" |
She insists that she is telling the truth, except that Josh is Dol’s friend, not hers. “Look, he’s not a drug dealer, if that’s what’s bothering you.

| "I'd like you to go now" |
“I’m grateful to you for coming, but I’d like you to go now – there’s no need to be worried – I’m fine, trust me!” Mark leaves.

| Eifion is not inclined to give the money back |
In the Deri, Tyler points out to Eifion that he has been a bit hasty and would like his money back. Eifion insists that it is not possible, but Tyler tells him, “There’s no written agreement – I want my deposit back now!”

| "The band of brothers unravelling?" |
Kelly, who has just come in, gleefully remarks, “What’s this? The band of brothers unravelling? Why don’t you compromise and have a clay pigeon shoot?”
 |
| "No-one's interested in your crusade!" |
Eifion says he has checked their website and no-one is interested in their crusade;

| "I am!" |
Hannah pipes up, “I’m interested!”
 |
| "So the Creatures have three friends!" |
Eifion scoffs, “So the Creatures have three friends! Well, whoop-dee-doo!”

| Iolo and Tyler want to remain neutral |
When invited to join by Kelly, Iolo and Tyler want to stay out of it, so Kelly decides to ask Siôn, who is just finishing his pint.

“He is the trump card – Mr Cwmderi – the heart of the community!” she boasts and then says, “Siôn, I take it you’re against the shooting of animals for sport?”

| But Kelly is sadly disappointed |
She and Gethin are very dismayed when he replies, “Well, as it happens, no! It’s complicated, but like it or not, it is an ancient tradition in the countryside.”

| "That was a waste of a trump card!" |
Eifion laughs, “That was a waste of a trump card! What are you going to do now?” Kelly leaves abruptly, followed by Gethin.

| "I've found some of Gwyneth's stuff" |
Siôn calls at the salon, where Sheryl sits, looking depressed; he has come across some aromatherapy stuff of Gwyneth’s and wonders if it is any use to Sheryl.

| Sheryl is missing Dr Roberts already |
She however is upset that Dr Roberts is leaving; “He knows my history, and knew how to help with the alopecia.” Siôn points out that the new doctor is a nice bloke,

| "I'm in the worst possible job" |
but she goes on, “It’s not just that – I’m in the worst possible job to deal with alopecia.”
Siôn can see that the psychology of her illness is weighing heavily upon her,

| "You should go and talk to Dr Pritchard" |
and stresses that Dr Pritchard has experience in the field of psychology; she should go and talk to him.

| Kelly is ready to throw in the towel . . . |
Kelly is ready to give up, arguing that they are wasting their time and energy; Gethin is unable to rekindle her enthusiasm.

Then she opens the laptop, in order to take down the CnocCnoc page, and finds a message which changes her attitude.

“Wow – look at this, Geth! There’s a bloke called Morgan, who is an experienced activist, who wants to help us!” Gethin warns that it may be a hoax, but she is convinced,

“Look – he’s the real deal – Premier League, like!” and Gethin is forced to agree that he knows his stuff.

Kelly is once more full of enthusiasm; “This is the boost we needed! Game on!”

Mark arrives back, reporting that Kath is not fine – he saw her at Dol’s bedsit, but Dol was not there.

| "Maybe they quarrelled" |
“Something happened this morning – maybe they quarrelled,” he says.
 |
| "She's forced Gran out of her lodgings!" |
Vicky is sure that Kath has forced her Gran out of her lodgings; “I want to know that Gran is all right – your mother rejects you, so you leave my Gran out on the street!

“I swear to you that if anything happens to her, I’ll hold you responsible –
